About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Associate Web Designer to join our marketing team. In this role, you will assist in the design and maintenance of websites, ensuring user-friendly interfaces, helping to deliver personalized and impactful content to our audiences. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives, driving customer engagement, retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Design & Development: Collaborate on creating and maintaining responsive website designs, graphics, and user interfaces utilizing HTML and CSS. Offer support for e-commerce platforms and assist in managing online webinars.
- Email Design Support: Assist in the designing, planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, and automated emails.
- Social Media & Web Ads: Creating and resizing social/web ads for all media channels.
- Content Management Systems: Assist in managing and publishing website content via management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Bootstrap, Pardot, Magento, GitHub.
- Optimization & Testing: Skilled in optimizing websites for speed, performance, and responsiveness across all devices. Well-versed in identifying and resolving cross-browser compatibility challenges to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, design, content, and cross-functional teams to develop engaging web experiences that align with brand voice and marketing goals. Define project requirements, coordinate effectively, and keep stakeholders informed with clear delivery timelines.
- Research & Innovation: Experiment with new tools to enhance workflow and productivity. Stay up-to-date with web design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Oversee Workflow and Deliverables: Effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality. Experience with the Adobe Workfront project management system is a plus.
- Creative Problem Solver: Solution-oriented and a creative thinker, with a positive, “can-do” attitude toward overcoming challenges.
Required Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or certification equivalency
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in web design, email marketing, digital marketing, or a related role, with a portfolio showcasing diverse web projects.
- Applications & Coding: Adobe Creative Suite, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Indesign,
Illustrator, XD, Figma, HTML/CSS - CMS: Wordpress, Bootstrap, Pardot, Magento & GitHub experience a plus.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and email performance metrics.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in campaign execution, list management, and quality assurance.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, remote position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern). Occasional evening and weekend work and travel are necessary as job duties dictate.
Travel
In-person attendance is required at quarterly departmental meetings, company events, and the annual corporate retreat (which typically takes place in January each year).
